I commend you all for going out and participating in these events. Wether a paid gig or community participation. As long as you enjoyed the experience is all that matters in the end. I've been so busy with work I've put any playing aside. I'm saddened to my core for that and I am proactively looking to change that this year. Hope you all had a great Christmas.
Update: This variation does apply to Studio trumpets, cornets, and trombones. Also, there is a third variation resembling an illuminated movie theater sign.
Just saw this post, so I’ll resurrect it for this cornet. 1962 Conn 9A Victor short cornet. Coprion bell and leadpipe, in really nice original condition.
@J-Jericho thank you and I too remember you as well. Looking forward to reacquianting with many of you fine folk on here. Again, thank you for the welcoming comments and I'll be sharing as time progresses.
@Trumpetb Thank you so much for the suggestion. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I have a brother in law that was the music director at the local university, now retired. I will ask him.

Yes and this is why isolated reports must be read with caution and questioning their reliability and internal bias. The systematic review I posted above is a larger study including many which brings us closer to the truth from the isolated studies I found based on small groups in a single location.
@barliman2001 Thank youuuuu!!! I came across an article about functional ear training while exploring the ToneScholar app I've been using. Do you believe this approach is as effective as the one you recommended? You can find the article here: https://tonescholar.com/blog/functional-ear-training-explained
