Kind of Blue, legacy album. Amazing!

Curly, what makes it different from the original, the sound?

@Kehaulani , more tunes. Got it on iTunes. I know some will criticize the poor reproduction on downloaded music, but with partial hearing loss and constant tinnitus, it is just fine for me.

Not to brag (well maybe a little), but just saw this discussion on a drummer's Facebook post that scored a live recording of a concert I played with an internationally known violinist at a concert in Dayton a couple years ago. But the drummer was just listening to it now so is true to the thread:

Fantastic, Doc. You have a nice sound on the flugel. Excellent improvisation without straying too much from the melody, too.

I'm not doing anything trumpet-related these days, but I've been learning the organ -- very, very slowly!

Nice band, Doc. Looks to be about the same size, with a similar mix of ages as the band I play with.
I envy you, though, because we are still only practicing, not entertaining.
I miss an audience, especially when they are dancing. I did so much of that kind of entertaining during the 50s and 60s.
