There is a pretty good physical resemblance to Osho, the Sex Guru. The dialect of the one I posted could be West Virginian. Osho on the other hand sounds like he is from Brooklyn, Jersey or Mumbi.

Somehow sex and a Brooklyn, Jersey accent would NOT get me to home base.

Is this a rare find? It appears to have a rather small bell for a flugelhorn. How does it sound? How accurate does it slot?

My good fortune on this virus is, that while my evening gigs may be impacted negatively, eventually, my other profession keeps me very busy during the day. The most frustrating thing about my day gig, is I can only tell my patients it is NOT the flu (as I can test for this), and that it is another virus, of which, in Ohio, we have no COVID-19 test kits!

My heart goes out to you Flugelgirl. Your local being Washington State (Seattle in vicinity) does not help your cause either. I too hope this "contained" out break ends quickly.

Looking at the death rate since US stats have been reported is around 7% (higher than the 2% in Asia). Is there reason for concern? You bet. So cautious and judicious of choosing venues is warranted. Were the risk is higher, caution will be ramped up. So again, my heart goes out to you Flugelgirl.

Yeah, Miles was in a different league. I was more into the big bands, louis and Dixieland style jazz while I was playing back then, but after I stopped in 1965 I became interested, as a listener, in jazz players like Miles and Chet. And I would say that no one was further away from the Harry James exaggerated vibrato style of playing than Miles.

Actually as a young lad in St. Louis, Miles aspired to the Harry James sound. His earlier teacher scolded Miles for trying to sound like Harry... Miles listened, and the rest is history.

Have you had a digoxin level checked recently? Rumor has it that Van Gogh's textures were yellow due to his excessive use of digoxin. Anyway, let me know and I will keep an ear off for you.

For me, I first soak in moderate warm soapy water at 101 F. Then I will add a bit of conditioner to the water. After about a good 15 minute soak, I then drain the tub and pat EVERYTHING dry. Immediately after this I chose a 100 Proof pure grain alcohol cleansing....

...Then I will wash my horns!
