I have the resonance enhancers on both my Bb Strads, the trumpet and cornet. They really do work, and a friend of mine is using them too after borrowing one of my sets and deciding he wanted some. You can see them between the valves on this picture.

Nice example, Ivan. When I play a new song with lyrics I actually learn how to sing it before before I even try to play it on the trumpet. As your videos shows, matching notes to the lyrics is an absolute necessity if you want the song to sound correct.

@Trumpetsplus : They have been on my Shew ever since I received them (txs Ivan for sending them to this side of the Atlantic with a very friendly postage fee). I fiddled a bit with the positioning, they now rest higher between the valves most of the time (= tighter fit). Sloting improved a lot, it's easier to lock the right notes in place.
They simply work. For me. Meaning = nothing wrong with the trumpet, it's me who needs the extra help, most probably going against the more loose/lighter characteristics of the Shew, that are there by design.

This reminds me of books my old mentor, Bill Pfund, used to write.

Depends on how much one drools!

See my remarks on cup size. If I recall correctly, I did drool initially, but applying more suction helped eliminate much of the drool that leaked from the cheek, so to speak.
