      @barliman2001 The Astronaut's March would have been a vast improvement. Does it have lyrics? Maybe we could write some and submit them to the Space Force. What they have surely can't last very long. Or maybe we could write some lyrics for the Belgian Paratroopers.

      So, here's an update..... WWBW listed new Hetman #2 as "in stock." So, I ordered 5 bottles. They arrived promptly, but the zip-closure bag inside the box arrived full of oil. The bottles all leaked like crazy.

      I was at local shop "Hornucopia" about other matters, and I asked owner Sandy about Hetman. She told me that other players had told her the same thing. The new round-shaped Hetman bottles leak like crazy. Other players also report the product seems different from the old Hetman oils.

      I called WWBW and they gave me a refund "no questions asked." They didn't want the product returned. I can see why.

      Ok, the tone of the discussion is getting more and more acid. I am closing this thread before bad language and undesirable arguments creep in.

      This recording was a number one hit in Germany, where he lived in the 1990s.

      Yeah, my (German) kids and I used to mimic this song.

      Thanks, Barliman2001. Here's what I found in Wikipedia about the original hymn.

      @Newell-Post
      Wow, that sucks! Report it to the police and start checking pawn shops. Chances are, the person who stole it is not a trumpet player so it would seem to make sense to pawn it. I do wish you the best of luck and don't give up.

      I purchased and Eb/F Alto Horn (Tenor Horn) a few years back. I use my flugelhorn mouthpiece, which works well enough for my needs.

      I agree that with great players such as Miles, Maynard etc. that the player is the magic, not the horn. The other side is that Maynard's mouthpiece and horn helped him to get what he wanted to easier, just as Miles' setup made his job easier. While this is true, one of Miles' most iconic records, Walkin' was recorded on a borrowed horn from the recording engineer, not his Committee. Maynard played a number of different horns and always delivered big time. I've never been hired because of whatever horn I played at the time 🙂
