@moshe I'm an old fart of 64, but I have learned to love GOT, although it has a certain "learning curve." It's more "Dungeons and Dragons" meets "The Lord of the Rings" than Star Trek. Yes, there are some cult-like aspects, but they story telling is great.
Now that is funny.
Because I have never seen "Dungeons and Dragons" or "The Lord of the Rings" either

Never. Watched. One. Episode. Or clip. Or preview.
And yet, I feel fulfilled in life.
Heretic.

With Trumpet Master gone.
I worried about what would happen to Rowuk.
What will he do to replace TM in his life?
Then I realized that Rowuk can still kick puppies and tear the wings off of flies.
So he can still stay busy.
:^)
PS -
For those who don't remember,
10 years ago Wilmer Wise threatened me with physical violence because I dared to defend famous mouthpiece maker Vincent Bach that Wilmer Wise said was a racist.,
so Rowuk banned ME !!!!!!!!
Not that I still hold a grudge about the matter.... :^)

Thank you for creating this Web site.
I m slowly dying of Congestive Heart Failure,
so I am too weak to leave the house,
too weak to play trumpet anymore.
This Web site is my only contact with the outside world now.
You cannot imagine how much that means to a "shut-in".
Sharing trumpet info.
Telling a silly joke.
Asking a question about movies or TV.
It really does mean a lot.
Thank you.

I know absolutely nothing about Game of Thrones.
Probably because I'm an old fart of 63 years.
Is it a cult like Star Trek that will sell billions of dollars in action figures and have people putting on costumes and make-up for Comi-Con ?

I had triple-bypass heart surgery right after Christmas, 2011.
It was an HORRIBLE experience.
The sternum (chest bone) was cut in half then wired back together.
It has to heal.
The skin of the chest was cut open with a foot long incision.
It has to heal.
I remember that the hospital forced me to do breathing exercises that I hated.
But forcing air against trumpet resistance is quite different.
I would say that buzzing a mouthpiece would be OK since it is no different from the recommended breathing exercises,
but playing an actual trumpet would be too much strain while body is trying to heal.

I thought that Tiger Woods was a has-been.
I was wrong.
Congratulations, Tiger.

What does this supposed to be meaning ?
I haven't seen any non-peaceful responses. Some generalizations corrected, and disambiguiation, some restatement of pertinent facts, all in a spirit of accord.
Or are you suggesting that you are about to blow an o-ring because everything you said isn't being accepted at face value, and you are trying to erase the conversation so that it never happened ? If so, you need a different kind of doctor.
I was afraid that my posts might have offended some people,
so I deleted my posts.
It's that simple.
Please do not insinuate that I "need a different kind of doctor".
Be nice.

On the "Greg Gutfeld Show" on the Fox News Channel of April 13-14, 2019, , he showed a brief video of a little baby in a tiny blue trailer being pulled by a remote-control car.
It was cute and hilarious.
The baby was calm and acted like nothing unusual was happening.
The show always pulls such videos off the Internet,
but I cannot find it.
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I got older,
the first thing to go was my third leg.
Now, without that tripod effect to prop me up, I keep falling down.

As Donald Reinhardt used to say,
mouthpiece placement depends on embouchure type.
Downstream uses more upper lip than lower lip.
Upstream uses more lower lip than upper lip.

The model number was stamped on the bottom of the mouthpiece receiver starting in 1925.
But that is no good if the mouthpiece receiver has been replaced.
