      Thanks for all the replies!

I decided to bring the Onkyo amp out of the house and into my studio. I found a pair of Klipsh tower speakers that have what I consider to be a really nice sound. I am enjoying the "new" rig.

I have Klipsh speakers and really like 👍 them much. They have amazing stability so much so that I put my mini moog through them in preference to my Kustom PA system.

@mike-ansberry I agree with Rowuk. If it's done right, it can be removed right. I have 2, MB & LB. I've not had an issue with my left hand, but I've been playing it since I was 11. That's been awhile ago. 😁

@mike-ansberry It's not like the Severinsen Eterna Model, made specifically "for" Doc. Bobby Herriot was famous for playing a tilted bell LeBlanc (?) and Doc turned him to Getzen. Doc got his name on his model. Bobby only got an "H" after the 900 on his. Sadly, he just past away in January.

@kehaulani All good suggestions. The Niehaus looks interesting, but I'd have to transpose the etudes and I really want to spend that time playing. I have quite a few Aebersold albums including Nothing But Blues. I do not have #42. I also have all volumes of the Rich Matteson/Jack Peterson play along recordings that we used in class with the book that goes along with them, the Rich Matteson Flexibility and Improv Patterns book, and a large number of transcriptions of various artists.

What I am looking for is a book of good basic blues solos to use as practice etudes.

Clark Terry is one of my trumpet heroes, and is probably one of the best Flugel players in the world. And nobody make it look easier.
He has an hour long video Course on Trumpet Playing on youtube which was great for comeback players like me. His section on buzzing with or without a mouthpiece, especially without is absolutely amazing.
I am using an ACB TA1 mouthpiece, developed by Trent Austin, a friend of Clark's, and it is mostly based on the mp Clark used through out most of his career, and it is a great worker for me.

Not the version but I have another Shure wireless mic system and REALLY LOVE IT. This system I have and the mic on a flex rod that attaches nicely to the third valve slide.

I really don't care about the physics involved. I am just glad I am able to keep the pitch up without working my butt off again.

Not really physics but anatomy. The tongue is on the top end, the butt on the bottom end... he said, tongue in cheek...

Somebodt on the oTHer site suggested I try Noteflight. i saved my Sib files as .mid and imported them to NF. It gave me recordings with a nice, straight sound. Most helpful in acclimating to my "new"
      Olds Recording.

@rowuk Thanks for the input. I just got a new computer and it has no sound input built in. I am waiting on a Focusrite 2i2. When it gets here I'll do some recording. Listening to yourself is for sure a good way to judge progress and plot ways to improve. I am also anxious to listen to my improv. I've been working on it and I think maybe I don't totally suck anymore.

I play in a couple of big bands, a couple of small jazz quintets, and a couple of horn band rock groups. It sounds like a lot more than it really is. With all that combined I'm actually working one or two gigs a month when we aren't in the pandemic. The Balanced Embouchure workout has made C up to Eb feel like middle range. When I get the Focusrite in I'll record some of the horn band stuff and see what the high notes sound like. I am hopeful.

I played with it back in March. I have a USB mic, so I didn't need their hardware. It works best with a hard-wired network connection, and doesn't work as well over WiFi or G4. But even with an good connection, it was marginal at best.

There was a slight delay, which took some getting used to, but sort of worked. However, when I played with a drummer, the native sound from the drums seemed horribly out-of-sync with what was transmitted.
