NAMM-who’s going?
-
I’m going to NAMM for the first time in my life and I’m very excited. Who else is going? It would be fun to have a meet and greet at some point. I’ll be there Thursday and Friday.

@tjveloce Too far away for me - would need a sailing boat to take me over, as at the moment it is unwise for me to fly.

I’ll be there Wed-Sun with the team from work

Will you guys have a booth there? It would be great to meet you in person!

It will be the first year in about a decade I won't be attending. I have another trade show to work as well as a new recording project that week. My shop guys Kyle and Josh will be going to help both Adams and Schagerl out. I'm sure gonna miss the sunny LA weather.
NAMM is fun! be advised you can't walk in with instruments or out unless you have very special badges like an Exhibitor badge. Bring comfy shoes there's a lot to see (so much more outside of the wind instrument world especially in recording gear, mics, lighting, IPad apps, etc)
Cheers!

I went to NAMM years ago and it was a blast. I would encourage anyone who can, to go. Walked down on a peer and heard a Euphonium player playing his butt off. Turned out to be Rich Matteson. Man did he cook.
I also had a fun coincidence. I was working in Dallas at the time and in this huge hall at NAMM, with probably thousands of people milling through, the guy I sat next to in band in Hawai'i walked right in front of me. What are the chances? So we went to Disneyland with his wife and had dinner together.
You just don't know what will happen there.

@ACB sorry I’ll miss you this year! It’s the only time I get to see you! Glad to see Josh and Kyle, though!

@tjveloce no booth - we go as buyers. It’s when we negotiate the big deals
