@leonardo-santos Do you have access to a competent brass repair/reconditioning shop? The valves look like they will need proper replating, along with perhaps honing the bores, followed by lapping the newly plated valves for smooth operation.

RE: Long ago Trumpet Master member from Southern California.
@acarcido When administrator created TrumpetBoards, a few former TrumpetMaster members discovered it and spread the word among other former members with whom they had maintained contact or otherwise spread the word about the new trumpet forum. Since then, TrumpetBoards has developed into a warmer and notably less contentious community than its predecessor, and additional TrumpetMaster members stumbled across it along the way, you among them.
Some are sadly no longer with us, and I still wonder what happened to familiar TrumpetMaster members who have neither gravitated toward this community nor to Trumpet Herald. I remember you, and I'm glad that you finally found us. Welcome! Or is it welcome back?

RE: My Myopericarditis
@Vulgano-Brother So sorry to hear of your experience. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery! I expect that you will get good answers to your questions, and I also expect that time and patience will be part of those answers. Your doctors should be able to help guide you, too.

RE: A little humour
... Then there's the old one about the man who orders a bowl of soup in a restaurant:
Diner - "Waiter, would you please come over here?"
Waiter - "Yes, sir? How may I help you?"
Diner - "Taste the soup."
Waiter - "Is there something wrong with the soup?"
Diner - "Taste the soup."
Waiter - "Is the soup not hot enough?"
Diner - "Taste the soup."
Waiter - "Is the flavor not to your liking?"
Diner - "Taste the soup."
Waiter - "All right, if you insist, I'll taste the soup. Where's the spoon?"
Diner - "My point exactly!"

RE: You've never heard Kuhlohorn like this
Dimensions and sound appear quite similar to a flugelhorn, but with a more rounded rounded wrap.
