Donβt you mean Schlub? Schagerl is in Mank, Austria, and I believe George Schlub moved back to Ohio from Singapore.
Ooops... yes I do. I will do the appropriate edits. Thanks Dr. Smith!

Definitely sounds like more than two trumpets. Great work , Doc.
I find writing the trumpet part up and octave and keeping the tenor part in the lower range really fills out a spectrum sounding out more harmonics. Some harmonies really help that are off the "traditional harmonics" like letting the ear hear the 5th so adding another harmonic to compliment that natural overtone.

A fun project is to match the popping frequency of the backbore to the cup, filing off the end of the shank until they match--then machine a Morse taper to the appropriate end diameter.
Adds zing to the response.
I agree to the above, but you can do this as well with the Harrelson Gap Kit.
That it sounds, feels good and is free blowing. I have the business provide several mouthpiece brands to interchange to assure a best match is first found before setting the horn through a real test run. What I play is various jazz tunes by memory. I recommend a ballad to play with tone and control, a be-bop tune to test valves and responsiveness and horn flexibility. Play in several ranges to assure intonation issues that may come out at different ranges for the horn.

Here it is. Please note the base of notes is on a circle and the functional relation is a separate square that sits on top of the circle held in position by a peg, to allow the square to be dialed to the key one is wanting to play a function against:

you might need a 2nd Harmon/Bubble mute for that Committee ... because adjusting the cork fit it will make the fit totally different on the Recording.
I agree. I have 2 Harmon mutes, one for my Committee and one for my Olds trumpets, with different cork thicknesses for this same reason.
All things have a lifetime they come to an end and die, and if you dont let them die when the time comes, they can become zombie like and only deliver existence with no real purpose.
So... are you saying all of us TMers here on TB are in our afterlife? Is TB trumpet heaven? TB does have it's own spirit, and I am wearing a halo... or is that the result of me having one-to-many gin and tonics?
Horn arrangements are just such a perfect rendition of that Chicago Sound. The percussion section also has the Chicago vibe. The keyboard and guitar however just does not duplicate the same energy as the original group.
Arturo on the solo was a real treat. The horn he is using is the Harrelson he brought to the Master Class I attended a few years ago.

Ready to serve sir, ready to serve!
May I suggest changing over to trumpet. Dents are more easily fixed.
Would loan him one of my own, but I too am a shellfish kinda guy!

The first response will be from Dr GO, I imagine = king of the Recordings!
OR one could just purchase a vintage Recording!
Blaine, you do know vintage, yes? I know you do. I purchased one from you. A REAL beauty.
you gain all function back. Once you are discharged, message me, as. I want to ask more specifics. I will make sure you will not have another and will recommend a protection plan for your heart
as well which is the number 1 cause for mortality after a stroke. Let turn this setback into a stroke of good luck, OK

I heard of a Wah Wah mute, but a Meow Meow mute?
And once the "cat is out of the beg", how does it insert into the bell?
