Sorry. I used to love cars. Now I hate cars. They are a necessary evil, but I just want ones that start and run reliably and drive comfortably.

How about motorcycles? I like them, too…

Might as well make the necessary evil as enjoyable as possible.

This is the second time I have seen this in my neighborhood. I tried to get him to stop and let me get a better shot, but I had no luck. I imagine he has people wanting to do the same all the time.

He couldn’t stop - he was chasing the Riddler…

You have the same attitude as my wife. She now says "All cars are junk, no matter how old or new they are."
For a little bit of perspective, and since we're indulging in car/motorcycle porn, my wife occasionally used to street race against Pontiac Trans Ams back in the day and win, driving her sedan that looked exactly like this one:
autoevolution.comShe said "I liked the way it pinned my ears back when I gave it the gas." It got to the point that I spent one day per week repairing it.
Now she drives this, when it isn't taking its 4 - 10 days off per month waiting for parts:
Meanwhile, we're shopping for a newer sedan for her with the right balance of reliability, performance, and price.

I saw the driver of the Batmobile, and, BRACE YOURSELF- it wasn’t Batman! So that opens up a real can of worms.

Maybe it was Bruce Wayne, then.

Looked more like commissioner Gordon, to be honest.

The Honda in the foreground is the same model I took my motorcycle license test with, although it was not mine. If I am remembering correctly it’s a CB450, my friend let me borrow it.

This is my motorcycle as I transport it to my next location.

@ssmith1226 That's using your head!

Not only that, but did you notice my vintage Bach Case strapped to the back?

It fools a lot of people because it has a 1966 Honda CB450 tank on it. It’s actually a 1969 CL350, and used to look like this…

Very classy. I like the look of vintage motorcycles.

I had a friend who was a hard-core yogi. Only ate a handful of nuts a day. Lived in a tee-pee. Had only one material passion. His Indian motorcycle.

That sounds like the modern-day "minimalism" movement.

This was pretty much the same bike I had. Not my actual, but a lot like it. Almost identical. Mine was a little nicer.

Our garage space was sacrificed for a home shop for me and teaching space for my husband, so no cool car toys here. I sure do enjoy watching everyone else’s on the road, though! There are lots here in my neighborhood, and then sometimes I get to go out in my dad’s 64 Impala when I visit with him. He keeps saying he’s going to visit and drive a new toy home since the weather is better for old cars to survive in this area, along with no road salt. Hasn’t happened yet, though!

As long as I’m posting motorcycles (my old toys), I’ll show the other one, too. It’s a 1000cc 1983 Harley Sportster XLX, with the old cast iron engine that was produced from 1957-1985.
