Tortajada cases, any experience?

Hi! A former pianist/keyboard player here who's starting in the brass world... I'm looking for a trumpet case and I saw many times the spanish brand "Tortajada". Any experience with that models? They offer different designs but I think inside they are all the same.

Some recomendations? Thanks!

No experience with Tortajada, but would also recommend checking out Torpedo.

I too started out as a keyboard player on the Hammond B3. Have been into trumpets now for over 50 years and have much experience with cases especially since in the newer instruments are not sold with cases. I have found that the non traditional tube case torpedo works great

Torpedo cases are very sturdy and well made, in my experience. They do a great job of protecting your horn. But they are not the best when it comes to storing all of the "incidental" stuff that goes along with trumpet playing... mutes, sheet music, pencils, clothes pins, water bottle, trumpet stand, mute holder, spare eyeglasses, tissues, etc. etc. I like Protec for well made, inexpensive cases that can also hold all of the detritus.

I love my Torpedo cases - I have several singles plus a triple I use for my flugel. I find the pockets on them can hold plenty of extras, but I use a separate bag for mutes. My mutes are expensive, and I don’t like to pack them so tightly together, as is needed for the supplied mute bag. The cases aren’t cheap, but they are very protective and hold up very well. My oldest one is 11yrs old and shows very little wear, though it has traveled extensively!

I love how Torpedo gives you a large quantity of various Velcro insert liners so you can custom fit sections to match bell flairs, and snug up to minimize movements of multiple horns contained in the case.

@Dr-GO my triple even came with a laptop sleeve, though I’ve never used it! I regularly keep trumpet/flugel/stand packed up in it, but sometimes use the third spot for picc, cornet or whatever extra horn I need that day.

Wow, I see Torpedo is a good brand with nice ends and functionality but I'm afraid it's a little bit expensive for me, at least for now when I'm starting.

What an original way to get brass players to look at a specific brand never before mentioned at this site. The OP didn't say anything about what kind of horns, mouthpieces or accessories that they wanted to carry. Sounds almost like they were trying to sneak this in as an ad!

The 4 trumpet case seems to be pretty flimsy inside and expensive on the outside. The dealers that I frequent do not carry it, so I cannot offer anything special other than there is nothing that draws special attention to any detail.

@ROWUK What a complicated way to think man... Of course that brand was never mentioned before at this forum; that's the reason I'm asking about it.
