flugelgirl - I think this was an obtuse reference to Trump.
Kehaulani is wise beyond his years. Actually, to get rid of hard to treat biologic 91% isopropyl is effective and safe.

Perhaps also a daily washing with Bleach, Yes?
Perhaps Miles Davis was on to something:
Not known to be a high note player, and used a Harmon mute a lot of the time. Perhaps we can all learn from Miles, yes?

I have written a couple of things and have given a few talks about the Spanish flu of 1918+. COVID-19 is not influenza and I'm not a doctor. But there are some interesting historical lessons learned, since COVID-19 and influenza are both RNA viruses.
One of the mysteries of the Spanish flu... it died down a second time in December, before resurging in January, 1919. ... My theory is....... air conditioning... today air-conditioning is nearly universal, at least in most parts of the US. In the Summer, work and events are mostly indoors in re-circulated air conditioned air, hence the current flare up in COVID-19 cases. Instead of a Summer die-down, we may see a die-down of the COVID-19 in the Fall, when more things happen outdoors and more windows are open.
That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Very cool with this theory. Your contribution to vent in this discussion is well appreciated.
Here is a safety comparison of particles produced by different instruments. Trumpets do pretty well.. but what the heck, a Tuba is the same as "background' noise. In real life, Tuba and Background noise is an oxymoron.

Maybe not.
No I think he is!

Not really!
Also unique to the Martin Committee, after cleaning, it is of value to fill the horn completely with water, then blowing the water through the valve casings before oiling.
I agree with Mike. I think wiping down the valve block is key before adding a new drop of oil, no matter which one you choose.

Looks good.
BTW, how was the temperature?
It was 97.8... I will leave it up to you as to what part of his body was measured to get to this reading.

Preferably Hetmans 2
But anything works fine as long as itβs not Blue Juice
If Holton oil was still a thing Iβd still use it. Iβve heard Linzoil is the same but havenβt tried it
I used both Holton (my initial favorite) and Blue Juice. I also was tempted by Monster Oil. Of these Monster Oil really slowed down my valve action, Blue Juice was just OK, and Holton did fine. However Ultra Pure gives me the fastest action, lasts the longest and leaves less residue in between oiling as I noted from wiping down the valves prior to re applying oil. Learned the valve wipe down technique from Rowuk.

Let's make this thread funny again...
OK. Let me try to put a humorous twist to the discussion:
Brian-Moon, a lot of physics got us to advance in space explorations that came from math of space expansion over the Billions and Billions of years. Here is a video proving how this ageless application of science got us to the moon:

Glad we've had a ton of rain this year - no burn bans were in effect. We shot off quite a bit at our 4th gathering, although most of it was stuff the boys didn't get to shoot last year.
I am Sooooooooooo glad there are people such as you and your family that do this. First of all, I can only imagine it takes up most if not all of the stimulus checks received to fund this... but this neighbor is truly appreciative. I know in my neighborhood, we had 3 neighbors within eye shot of my home shooting off an amazing display from 9:30 pm until 11:30 pm. Never, I mean never, have I gone to a "professional" fireworks display and seen this long of a show. AND what is amazing is our neighbors were shooting off the real rockets. I would hear the poof, see rockets taking off toward the sky for at least 5-10 seconds then huge plumes of flash and color... 2 solid hours.... and many, many gin an tonics later.... THE BEST 4th OF JULY SHOW I EVER ATTENDED!!!

OK... Thanks for keeping me on track. Thank God I have only a one track mind... much easier to accomplish.
At least you can N gauge!
OH! (on a smaller scale and with dyslexia)
HO man, sorry to hear that.
More like an O man. My dad had an O gauge set up in our basement when I was a kid. I mean it was our entire basement. He had mountains, lakes, bridges, houses, churches, businesses, roadways with cars, farms with animals... Had a blast running them with Dad. We had electronic controlled switches so could move trains between rail patterns. Really cool way to bring Father and Son together!

I had a great 4th also. There were more fireworks than ever thanks to the "bans" on public gatherings.
I noted the EXACT same thing. AND from the comfort of my back deck... with adult beverages and no worry as to security taking them away from us!

is a joke thread really the place for another Evolutionist vs Creationist discourse? ...None of the science that I mentioned delves into any divine creation or "evolution" of the jellyfish from lower forms.
When referring to lower forms... are you suggesting... perhaps.... country western singers?
Let's make this thread funny again...
