Remember: every dead body left on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so, maybe, calm down.

It's a play on words on the old elocution exercise, "The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain".
There's (or was) a well-known Rogers & Hammerstein song in "My Fair Lady" that uses it.

Yes. I knew that. My post was an addition to the poem, which also rhymed, in case you didn’t notice. “……mainly on the plain” please explain. See?

I can only counter this with how Maurice André once described trumpet playing to me:
"Playing se trompette is like singing, just wisout a sore throat."
I felt that name drop vibration all the way over here in America.
When I post a photo, this is what I see, and I tap the circled icon shown here, then choose- photo library and that’s what works on my iPad.
I know it’s not android, but what works for me
Finished this one recently. Our nephew took some great photos of Portland Head Lighthouse in Maine just a little while ago and I asked if I could use some of the photos. He was happy to let me use them. I made a couple of changes, as always.
@ssmith1226
Actually it was made by Blessing, in Elkhart, Indiana, and people who are in the know have told me that it was equivalent to the Super Artist model. I just donated it last June to a school district in Western Idaho for some youngster to learn on as well.
@ssmith1226
Or a Sears, Roebuck Catalog trumpet, as did I.
@kehaulani
Pretty sure there are horns with better intonation than others.
Otherwise we would all be playing Bundy's.
True?
@turtletrumpet
The p s 119 stands for Psalm 119 or some other Psalm verse. Lawyer puts it there because it means a lot to him. This is what I was told by a friend who owns one. Ironically his last name is Lawler as well!
What's his name? Said to the the dog owner.
HER/SHE
Oh, sorry to misgender your dog.
What's HER name?
No, his name is Hershey.

@bigdub The water droplets are very good.
And I thought those were beads of sweat from his hard work at painting that wonderfully realistic view!
That only happens in the summer….

@dr-go Yes, let's have paintings for all the Superbowl losers over the years.
BigDub could then retire from his day gig if he gets commissioned.
Retire(d) is my gig.
Did something a little different this time. Added a different element to this Maine Lighthouse. All of it is painted, in case there is any confusion.
A flight from Seattle to San Francisco was forced to take an unscheduled stop in Sacramento for repairs. There would be a delay of anywhere from an hour to several hours, so the crew told the passengers they were free to deplane but be alert to any announcements or messages to return immediately when it was ready to resume their flight. The captain saw Steve, who he had remembered from other flights. Steve was blind, and had his guide dog lying on the floor beside him. The captain asked if Steve would like to get out and stretch his legs a bit, and he said, no, I’m ok staying on board, but if you wouldn’t mind, could you take my dog with you for a little exercise?
Sure, said the pilot. Oh, he still had his sunglasses on, too.
Never has there ever been more panicked passengers and resulting cancelled flights in the history of air travel.
Connect the dots.
@georgeb
Me, too, George! That was the whole inspiration for that painting. That wonderful boat!

I can smell the Clam Chowder.
Maybe a Lobster Roll. It’s Maine, after all.
