Watching you do that painting brought back memories of when I used to play around with watercolors. If there are any other artist members here they will learn a lot watching that video.
By the way, GREAT PAINTING !
GeorgeThank you George! And thanks for watching. I appreciate that you did.

Ha ha, you are correct. But I think they'd make an exception for an old goat like me....
For you, definitely.

RE: We are Number 1!
Well, I must be the number one driver in NJ as indicated by the single finger raised in my direction. What else could it be?

Rather obtuse, LOL But yes. I get it.
I thought it was acute one -
RE: A little humour
Remember: every dead body left on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so, maybe, calm down.

RE: Wynton Marsalis trumpet
@kehaulani said in Wynton Marsalis trumpet:
It's a play on words on the old elocution exercise, "The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain".
There's (or was) a well-known Rogers & Hammerstein song in "My Fair Lady" that uses it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmADMB2utAohis phrase.Yes. I knew that. My post was an addition to the poem, which also rhymed, in case you didn’t notice. “……mainly on the plain” please explain. See?

I can only counter this with how Maurice André once described trumpet playing to me:
"Playing se trompette is like singing, just wisout a sore throat."I felt that name drop vibration all the way over here in America.

RE: Lawler C7 P s 119
When I post a photo, this is what I see, and I tap the circled icon shown here, then choose- photo library and that’s what works on my iPad.
I know it’s not android, but what works for me -
RE: Artist on BOARD
Finished this one recently. Our nephew took some great photos of Portland Head Lighthouse in Maine just a little while ago and I asked if I could use some of the photos. He was happy to let me use them. I made a couple of changes, as always.

RE: Lawler C7 P s 119
@ssmith1226
Actually it was made by Blessing, in Elkhart, Indiana, and people who are in the know have told me that it was equivalent to the Super Artist model. I just donated it last June to a school district in Western Idaho for some youngster to learn on as well. -
RE: Lawler C7 P s 119
@ssmith1226
Or a Sears, Roebuck Catalog trumpet, as did I. -
RE: Lawler C7 P s 119
@kehaulani
Pretty sure there are horns with better intonation than others.
Otherwise we would all be playing Bundy's.
True? -
RE: Lawler C7 P s 119
@turtletrumpet
The p s 119 stands for Psalm 119 or some other Psalm verse. Lawyer puts it there because it means a lot to him. This is what I was told by a friend who owns one. Ironically his last name is Lawler as well! -
RE: A little humour
