In case you would be interested, here is a recording I downloaded on SoundCloud. All parts are generated by myself, there were 8 parts. Two were digital keyboard for percussion and bass line. The rest me on trumpet. The very low sounding I transposed down an octave with GarageBand. 5 of the parts were also notated by me..( or ad libbed )

Random and meaningless family. Really

latest piece. Pemaquid Light, Maine. 24”x18” on stretched canvas. I am very happy with how this turned out.

A month ago this was a Walmart Superstore, but involuntary inventory reduction prompted the decision to close this store and another one in the area. I wouldn't be surprised if those responsible for the inventory reduction aim their activities at Target to a greater degree than they had been doing previously.

Well, it’s a lot harder to Walmart a Target than to Target a Walmart. Just saying. Hope that makes you feel better.

Glad I play an instrument with just 3 keys. Makes the task much easier. Yeah, right!

We were driving in the area after there had been a bad wind storm. Had to take a detour. While on that little side road we came upon a woman riding a bike. She was really close to the middle of this almost one lane country road, and as we got closer, I mentioned to my wife, look at her, she’s even riding no hands! Got close enough to realize she was riding a unicycle! True story

Went looking for a dog, to buy.
No shedding. One of those “Doodles”, you know?
There was Labradoodle, a Sheepdoodle, a Schnoodle, an Aussiedoodle,
Goldendodle, and a few more.
How much?
They said the price, and I said, “ these are mixed breeds, isn’t that a bit pricey?”
Well, they said, we have a Cockadoodle for $14.00
“Oh, now that sounds more like it”

Now that we’ve had him for a week, we are not very popular in the neighborhood.

I haven’t yet shown this one. A bit of a departure from my country type landscapes. I wanted to try a busy city scene. This is a street in Lisbon, Portugal.

Went to the Hardware Store the other day, and asked the first person I came across, “What’s the best thing for removing grime and stubborn stains?”
“Ammonia Cleaner”, she said.

“Sorry, I thought you were a salesperson”

The others may not want to bother sticking around too long…….
