Went to the Hardware Store the other day, and asked the first person I came across, “What’s the best thing for removing grime and stubborn stains?”
“Ammonia Cleaner”, she said.
“Sorry, I thought you were a salesperson”

@BigDub In Germany, there is a movement to anolish Mothers' Day and replace it with a "Care for yourself Day"...
So…….they want everyone to care for themselves just one day, instead of the current 365 days? Yes. Great idea

@Vulgano-Brother Not only there...
Yeah, I was surprised not that other countries had it, too, but a few have it on the same day.
Now, what would be a surprise is if there was a “Down with Mother’s Day” Don’t think that would go over well!
New piece, a scene from McCall, Idaho.
Been there, but this is from a reference photo from a good friend.

Flame is not photoshopped, by the way. He lives in my neighborhood, but I don’t know where the bat cave is……….
No headlights
No tail lights
No roof
No seatbelts
No rear view or side view mirrors
He has a special relationship with commissioner Gordon
Aaron Aanonsen was first in his class all through every school he attended.
He was the first to receive his diploma, too.

Never will I forget the heat we experienced in Phoenix that June of 1968 when our HS band participated in a marching band competition. It was exactly that same temperature and we marched at 180-200 bpm tempo. Kids were losing their heads temporarily with heat stroke by the time we finished the mile long parade. It was great fun anyway
One I have recently completed for my brother and sister in law. This is about ten minutes away from where they live. A gift.

High praise, there, mate, if I am right about who you are talking about in John Baeder! He’s actually a new favorite of mine. I definitely do not live in a vacuum. I learn from many other artists. It’s a matter of choosing what things I want to use and what I feel I should avoid. Thank you kindly, sir
I seem to be in a productive stage this year. I have a clear idea of what I want to paint. This is not always a given, by the way. Just glad the juices are flowing. This one was from a photo I took, from the driver's seat of my Uncle's Buick. The passengers were quite panicked, but I assigned my uncle to hold the wheel so we were fine. The second picture is the photo I took those many years ago ( with a film camera, by the way). Then I decided to recreate it in a winter setting. Here are the pictures
It has been said that some dogs can understand up to 250 words. I’ve had several employees who could understand at least that many……..combined, though.

I expect this will possibly not be good either, but for what it’s worth, here is my two cents.
I have played a marching French horn when needed. It has a very horn like sound ( duh). Anyway, I can share a recording where I was playing that part. The advantage for me, at least, was that a trumpet mp can be used interchangeably and the fingerings are exactly like trumpet. It reads the French horn part as well.
Last Sunday, beautiful sunny, warm day in my neck of the woods, wife and I took a drive into PA specifically for this barn. A long time favorite of mine in Solebury Township, Bucks County. There are so many stone buildings in Pa that I truly admire. Here is the finished piece.
