Kind of odd that non-hyphenated is hyphenated.
Shouldn’t abbreviate be a lot shorter?
And pi? Longer than my arm.
Covert, overt. I just don’t c the difference.

RE: A little humour
I wouldn’t say I do a great deal of flying, but with that being said, here are some things I have heard:
When I asked for a coffee, “I'm sorry, we are out of lids so the FTA won’t allow us to serve it”
Later I asked a real airline flight attendant if this was a real thing, and she said, “what??? I NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING”
Another time I asked how could I report that someone asked me to transport something for them without my knowledge if I would have no knowledge of it?
“That’s why we have to make that announcement”, they said.
On another flight, an announcement was made, “please feel free to hesitate to ask if you need anything” -

Another thing I just put together pretty quickly. The painting part was fast, but the preliminary planning lasted over many days...

Sven, was caught in a hailstorm while driving his Saab home from work. It was pretty bad, and looked like the dents were going to be permanent. He took it to a repair shop and to his surprise, the repair man said, “you can fix those dents yourself, you know. Just blow really hard into the tailpipe and they’ll pop right out”
Ole happened to be passing by Sven's house the next day and saw Sven “fixing” his dents.
“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, SVEN?”
Sven told him about the repair man’s kind advice.
“Oh, Sven, he was really playing a cruel trick on you. You have to close all the windows first!”Sounds like a very Saab story to me.
Good one. Um-hmmm.

Choleric. Somewhat correct, I think.

Two old fellers met down town and were catching up since they hadn't seen each other for some time.
One says, yeah, I got a hearing aid and it is so great! State of the art technology it is so good I hear things I was missing for so long now.
Wow, says the other. What kind is it?9:30.

Here is one I did of the path I take nearly every day on my walk. I was fortunate to get some reference photos at the perfect time. In only a couple of short weeks I don’t even recognize the same spot anymore!

Oh, man, hard to beat that one...Thanks. I put quite a bit of effort into it, that’s for sure.
I had to go on YouTube, find it, and copy the link, and then maneuver it yonder to here on this here site.
I’m practically exhausted just describing my efforts, here.
Don’t answer right away, George. An old fella like me has to rest up a bit now. -
RE: Trumpet Board Remote Performance
Here’s a pretty fair job at a remote performance...if I do say so myself.......

I’m currently involved in recording a virtual orchestral performance of Christmas music (some of it quite complicated) that will be broadcast locally in December. Playing along with a click track/backing track in headphones is a bit tricky, especially when there are holds and ritards in the piece. You have to listen to it and play along numerous times to be able to anticipate what’s happening. We’re doing multiple takes of the pieces, so the recording folks can hopefully piece together an acceptable product.
Would love to hear it when it is released, Dale.
