I reached out to this man (he speaks Spanish) about these trumpets for sale. The only one which interests me is the silver-plated horn in the middle. He told me that it's a "Coon" [sic] -- obviously it's a Conn, but I am keen to know which model. It looks fairly nice and if he only wants $150 could be a steal.

It is so hard to see the detail from that picture. Looking fairly nice from that distance could be risky. If you can get more detail from this individual as to model number, do give us an update.

Modern Conn of some sort? Severinson, 52B...? Looks like a copy of a Bach in that fuzzy picture. Possibly says Conn/Selmer on it somewhere?

Interesting. Middle case appears to have a combination lock. Do you use such a case for a Director? Wonder if Mr. Lara is a Mariachi musician? Isn't a Constellation popular in that genre?

@hotair What if the seller's lack of detail results from his being not the intended seller?

I don't know. I thought he was in Utah, turns out he is in Texas. So I guess I'll never know.

With such little detail, you'll never know without better pictures. If he only speaks Spanish and is in Texas, he's not playing a 38B. That middle trumpet clearly has 2 braces on the tuning slide and that is not a Conn characteristic on their horns, at least the vintage horns! BEWARE!!! It could be a conn job!!
