The sign below it’s in the parking lot of a boutique trumpet shop called “Jamie’s Trumpet Gallery” in Melbourne, Florida. Jamie, who is. Jazz Trumpet player herself and superb vocalist, deals in high end trumpets and flugelhorns with an emphasis in horns used in Jazz. You will not find student horns there, or for that matter, Piccolo Trumpets. C Trumpets etc. Among the high end brands there you will find new Taylor Custom Trumpets and Flugelhorns, as well as Inderbinen, and some high end trumpets on consignment. Today I played Taylors, a Inderbinen Wood Flugelhorn, Schagerls, Monettes, Martins, Olds Mendez etc. There were many I didn’t play., including Benge, Bach, and Conn, etc.
The store is well worth visiting in person or on line. The web address is:

I checked out her website. She has a refreshing concept about horn selection. I like her attitude.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. It seemed humorous to me. I don't doubt that Jamie is aware of it, too. Perhaps if you don't mention it to her when you walk into the store, she has your car towed.

Wanna quibble? The sign does not say "Trumpet" Parking, it says "Trumpet Player' parking and a trumpet player can play a cornet. 😁

@ssmith1226 Very cool sign. I have seen her website before. I love the concept of the shop. I am sure it is pricey, but only expensive and very nice horns are there. It is a curated shop. She has taken the time to make everything beautiful and elegant. Kudos to her for that. How about the 3% discount if you fly in to try horns!? Not the place to look for bargain basement stuff, but it would be fun to visit and meet her and check out the horns.

Her pricing seems very fair and competitive for the horns that she stocks. I’ve not seen any other brick snd morter store that carried new Inderbinen, Taylor, and DeCarbo horns among others. She also has an eclectic choice of gently used horns.

Maybe it's a test to help keep out the riff-raff. Kind of like the soup nazi. If you walk in the door and say: "I like your trumpet parking sign" then NO HORNS FOR YOU. But if you say: "Hey, how come your sign shows a cornet but says only trumpet players allowed?", then you have passed the first test and might be deemed worthy to try one of the Bachs. Five additional rounds of empirical testing are required to be allowed to touch the Monettes.
