1914 Frank Holton Revelation....I play it, but don’t own it...
Not bad at all.
Looks like you got swatted by the picture police.

Well, I did it. Conn 1947 36A. It might be to "trumpety" for me but my understanding is that Conn managed to make it sound a bit more mellow than the King Master. Can't wait to get it.

Nice looking valves in the listing! Can't say the same about the springs, but if they don't rub.... I'd probably replace them anyway if it was my cornet. Seems like a savvy seller, too. Enjoy!

And I take this as a chance for a rebirth. gmonady is now Dr GO.
We haven’t worked out any details regarding editing as of yet.
If he's reborn, maybe he won't need an editor....

I've looked at his post's and I think he's just not a "fan" of Rowuk. I don't think he's the owner. He boasts "major" credentials but wants to stay anonymous. Probably just an upset trollish person.
Actual photo of TH's "Gottfried Reiche"
Someone on anoTHer website claims to be the owner and claims to have deleted all of the information. No further explanation given. Which frustratingly leaves unanswered questions.
@Richard-III said in Why not another thread about bigger horns ?:
I spend most of my time playing french horn. Or as we like to call it, horn. Does that qualify as a bigger horn?
As for why there isn't another thread, possibly because players of other horns don't spend all their time talking about it online?
Check out http://www.themouthpiece.com/forum/ , https://www.trombonechat.com/index.php , and https://forum.saxontheweb.net/forum.php .
Here's the horn with the best intonation that I've played so far, my c.1983 Yamaha YFH-731, purchased new and modified by an exceptional tech who allowed me to assist him and work with him from time to time. He was always willing to show me how to do anything I was interested in.
When I bought my Olds Studio trombone, I had expected there to be some form of counterweight, like a weighted tuning slide brace. No such luck. The tuning slide appears to have been replaced, so maybe the original had this feature. I found an Ambassador counterweight, which I installed, and it does an adequate job.
@Newell-Post She's on LinkedIn and indirectly on Facebook. I have no account with either, so if someone does wants to contact her, this would be the easy way.

@King_Conng That is the most unhinged thing I have ever seen a person do.
Makes me wonder why they didn't take the water key levers while they were at it.
Playing in the extreme upper register is relatively easy if you use the right equipment:
Before TM went down for what appears to be the final time, there was a troll that bragged about being able to circumvent whatever barriers there may have been to prevent him from inflicting himself on the forum. Coincidence?
