(Edit) - just noticed the painting of the rabbit. Are there echoes of Munch's The Scream?
Ahh. The Munch's The Scream is actually a Dog: Spaniel

Wow ! I can almost hear the roar of the water. Great work, Wayne.
It's not the water, it's Wayne roaring after stubbing his toe on the easel that fell on him when he was moving the painting.

Never heard of an isle falling on anyone. Might be a first. LOL
MAYBE you meant easel? I don’t know, I just don’t know.
Oddly enough, I don’t use an easel much. Hardly ever. Just with very big canvases. And I try my best not to stub my toe on it…….
The editor is back, change made!
For those not using Facebook, here is a still clip of that same gig on Thursday:
Felt great getting back into playing out again!
My collection is unchanged, non sold, I still own them. My history will be chronological and the reason for their purchase:
Olds Ambassador - Bought by my parents when I decided to join my public school band program
Olds Recording (Fullerton Manufacture) - Bought by my parents as I continued public school experience into high school
Getzen 4 valve Eterna Flugelhorn - Self Purchased for a college rock band inspired by Rick Braun
Many years then pass until I become a TrumpetMasters member and was intrigued by attending a Trumpet Hang with another TM member at which time I played and fell in love with these horns:
Martin Committee - Now my main small group horn
Kenstul 4 valve 1526 - Now my main flugelhorn for both small group and big band
Then by concern of my horns being confiscated by security I purchased it assuming I could afford loosing it:
Allora Pocket Trumpet - Was confiscated 3x by Saudi Airport security, and got it returned each time after pleading with Saudi security supervisors.
Then my impulse buying spree "got to have it" due to discussions by TM Members identified in convincing me I had to have this horn:
Olds Super Recording - ANA Mandez and was my main big band horn until I experienced the Getzen Power Bore
Getzen Power Bore - Cyber_Shake and became my main big band horn until my Harrelson arrived 4 years after placing that order
Olds Recording (LA Manufacture) - Sounds7 to help support a cause requiring him to sell off instruments
Harrelson Summit - Sounds7 and Now my main big band horn
OF COURSE DURING THE DAY IF YOUR ARE STUCK IN TRAFFIC, YOU WILL BE IN LOTS OF TREBLE.

@bigdub The water droplets are very good.
And I thought those were beads of sweat from his hard work at painting that wonderfully realistic view!
Still doing well and just come out with this add for an upcoming Jazz Fest in Dayton:
I am the one with the Harrelson trumpet stuck to my face.

That would go over well in Colombia. Puns are like their religion here.
Then I should move there and be worshiped as their god.

N+1 has caused much personal tension for years. I went through a heavy season of acquiring more horns and really enjoyed that experience... but finally got to a point when I realized that certain ones weren’t getting played often enough and I felt I’d hit the ‘too many’ threshold. Instead of N+1, I would go N-1 or 2, and then +1 again. The tension is when I want to keep them all ... but reason ultimately helps me through that dilemma. 3 trumpets, 1 pocket and 1 Flugel is the current situation. I added the pocket and a DaCarbo in the past year. Not sorry about either ... but that may change.
PS: I have one of his +1's. I have one of Sounds7's +1's. I have one of ANA Mendez's +1's. So does that make me a humanitarian? ...or gullible?
