RE: A little humour
Did I ever mention I was named after Anthony Wayne, the famous Revolutionary war general?
Well.......he WAS born in 1745, so.......I certainly was named after him.

Parallel lines have so much in common. It's a shame they will never meet!
They get along great, though. They never cross each other.

how much does it cost Santa to park his sleigh???
Nothing! It's on the house!!!!
Also, how is Christmas like work?
You do all the work and the fat guy in the suit gets all the credit.

RE: A little humour
Ole was a Norwegian from Minnesota, and of course, Lutheran. He got pretty drunk one Friday night and accidentally found himself, for the first time ever, ( unbeknownst to him ) in a confessional at a Catholic Church. After a while he hears knocking on the wall beside him. After another while he hears knocking again. He answers the knocking, you may as well stop knocking, my friend, thereâs no paper in here either.

I always wanted to express my feel for these civil servants we owe so much respect to....âTHE BUILDING INSPECTORâ
By me....until you have to deal with one whoâs a little Napoleon. I knew the codes better than he did, but it took a call to his supervisor to get him to see it my way.
I thought my sarcasm would be obvious. A whole lot of them are Napoleons. A lot of these guys/gals wouldnât make it a minute trying to do the tasks they criticize so freely.

RE: Star Spangled Banner
Thereâs this- he even moved some of the players, who often donât even pay attention. Not exactly played straight, but absolutely beautifully done IMO.

I'm not sure if I should say hello, call the police, or bring her back to the Louvre.

I am no expert on US Geography, though I have some idea which states are where. And I'm no genius on routing or shipping.
Still, shouldnât the post office have some kind of clue that this may not be the shortest distance between Wisconsin and NJ? -
RE: How about a "Random Meaningless Image...let's see them string"?

RE: Jackie Gleason Plays Cornet
One thing seems clear to me. Both Jackie Gleason and Art Carney both played the cornet. Themselves. No fake dubbing. Something you almost never see anymore.
Another thing. My wife and I are about to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The couple who came to the Kramdens apartment were married 40, supposedly. They looked about 89.
Do I look 5 years older than those two?
Donât answer if you have nothing nice to say....hahahahaha -
RE: Artist on BOARD
I am working right now on three cat portraits. I will admit it is a struggle. Particularly with the eyes and getting the proper emotion. I was fortunate to find this reference poster. This really makes it crystal clear.

RE: Artist on BOARD
How about this? I received an email from an Instagram follower that he had purchased a painting from a thrift store after realizing it was not a print but an original, and had my signature on it. Could I tell him any background information about it? he asked.
He sent me a good photo of it, and it even had a frame I had made some 42 years past. By the way, he paid $6.99 for the framed original. -
RE: Artist on BOARD
Here is a new piece. This is a lighthouse from NJ called East Point Light. From Cumberland County in the Delaware Bay

Wow. Excellent work on all that detail.
Thanks, George!
I think I am happy with it. -
RE: Artist on BOARD
Got finished with another one to show. Inspired by my times in Idaho and I used a video of a mountain stream for my reference material.

RE: New Toy (not a trumpet)
The Honda in the foreground is the same model I took my motorcycle license test with, although it was not mine. If I am remembering correctly itâs a CB450, my friend let me borrow it.
Itâs actually a 1969 CL350, and used to look like thisâŚ
This was pretty much the same bike I had. Not my actual, but a lot like it. Almost identical. Mine was a little nicer.
