I know how to get exercise without leaving my chair, and let me tell you, I am worn out just telling you.
First I was told I was sawing wood for a while, then I jogged my memory, ran my mouth, jumped to conclusions, laid down the law and stood on my principles. Now I am exhausted. I will repeat this pattern often.

RE: Artist on BOARD
Here is a commission once again, for a fellow TrumpetBoards member. His input was very much in play for how I did this one. I enjoyed working with him and I appreciated his open mindedness to the ideas I shared while working on it. Amazing that in this age of technology we could accomplish this without ever even meeting face to face.

RE: Artist on BOARD
This is going to be a big one. These are all the commissioned paintings I did for Dr. GO, AKA gmonady, from another life. He has been very good to support me in my artwork. A little background, here. Not all the paintings were from supplied photos from the Doc. The Farm has a great story. That was my photo, the covered bridge was from my own photo, and the moonlit ocean scene was kind of dreamed up.....from what he described to me of what he wanted...here we go.

RE: Artist on BOARD
A painting by my great grandfather ( who I never got to meet ). The painting was one of many I have been looking at for my whole life. This one may be near 100 years old ! By the way, he only lived to be 54 years of age, and he was a contractor by trade.B3F99F05-4118-42E3-9A66-35E3C769B0C3.jpeg

RE: Artist on BOARD
At the risk of ruining it, I will not add any more to this one.
( Believe it or not there are changes from the previous stage I showed ) done. Put the fork in it now. I hope they don’t ask for any more details. The “customers” have not seen even the slightest hint of this painting yet. -

I appreciate that comment, Kehaulani. Here is another I don’t believe I have shown here yet,

RE: Railroad Photography
Here are two related to the Union Pacific Railroad. One is a great scale model of the Boise Train Depot and the other is “Big Mike” a restored Locomotive sitting outside the Depot there in Boise.

A few more...
I especially like the really old engines. Very nice. Are these your own or were they from another source?

RE: Railroad Photography
Some people got a little over exuberant about the Railroad and the Parcel Post benefits. After this happened, they had to be a little more specific about what you could ship!

RE: Getting straight what I can and cannot do
This is all both amazing and extensive, Kehaulani. I hope there is no indication from my responses and posts that would infer any disrespect or lack of admiration on my part.
I think I just need clarification as to why you felt the need to put all this out there. Did you feel slighted or disrespected by someone at some point here?
I think I would have the same respect for you if you were a comeback player and couldn’t quite nail the Bb major scale yet.
Also, these are only words on a screen to me. Never have I seen any of these arrangements, nor heard any of this playing by you or your various groups, so there is a bit of a void in this whole resumé. This is only to say, I would LOVE to hear or see something more from you. That's my take on it. It’s not a challenge or rebuttal, but more of a desire on my part.......I'm a bit of a visual person....
My days as a student were difficult because of my learning style as well. Write it down and I will struggle. Show me or let me hear it, and I am halfway there. See? -

Look as if the tracks are listing around car #3. Any chance the painting can be repainted to fix the problem with the tracks... This will make me feel much better... as I have a one track mind.
Here is a little something I did. Just finished today, DrGo, with your inspiration. Maybe I fixed some things, added some, took away others?
Dale, forgive me for straying a little from Railroad enthusiast's exactness of the engine.i sort of created my own. Some of you may recognize the location of this? -

Well, here's something I just completed. You might like this one, DrGO?
It's missing a ship on the horizon, right? Maybe you want to post THAT one for comparison, or maybe not if you don't give a ship.
Here you go.
Hmm, sorry, the ship wrecked it!
It’s ok. I can erase it. Or wait a half hour and it will be gone. On its way to Davey Jones's locker.

RE: Artist on BOARD
Here is a new one. A big thank you to Ivan Hunter for use of the photograph of Pumpkin Island Lighthouse, Brooklyn, Maine. It may look familiar because I did an earlier one of the opposite side. It’s a very small island amongst many in that area.

I hope you all don’t mind me sharing another one I just finished today? This one of a farm, early morning, in Oldwick, NJ. About 25 minutes from me
