RE: Cannot upload pictures.
@Voltrane
I have upped the max photo size by 5x. You should be able to upload photos just by clicking "Upload image" when you make a post.

Anyone a fan of Schilke trumpets? How about a Schilke Club? I play the S32 and S42HD.
Fantastic instruments!

RE: Fine Tuning
@Shifty Could you perhaps post a screenshot? I can't seem to find the issue you are facing. Thanks.

@administrator, congratulations on this amazing new site. It works great on my PC and on my tablet. Yesterday, the mobile version looked great on my Blackberry Q10 as well. I could log in and use the menu to find new posts. Today it appears the menu is broken, referring to the three horizontal bars at the top left of the screen. They're black on a blue background to start with and, when selected, the whole square turns grey and no menu. Can't even tell if I'm logged in. Any suggestions?
I have been playing around with themes and I might have broken that part. Keep on coming; like a fine wine, it'll improve with age!

@administrator It may have been a weak signal on my part. Connected to my wifi, all is well. Hate to send you on a goose chase!
Trust me, I wasn't losing sleep over it

Why TrumpetBoards.com?
Welcome, newcomers. You may have been familiar with the now (seemingly) defunct forum TrumpetMaster. Or, you may be a regular user of TrumpetHerald. My goal as creator and admin of TrumpetBoards is bring together the positive experiences of both, while solving some of the problems that occurred in past forums. Here are a few of the features that distinguish our community:
- State of the art software: I am a professional software engineer and am committed to bringing you the best experience with the staunchest security.
- Unlimited photo & file uploads at the click of a button: Simply click "upload" and your photo is there. Couldn't be easier!
- Embedded Videos: Just past the URL from Vimeo or Youtube and it appears.
- Groups: Join the "Martin Committee" club or "Old Guys" club...just for fun!
- Events posting: Post your event along with an embedded calendar. Soon to come -- google maps showing exactly where your event will be!
- Easy internationalization: Change your menu languages in the click of a button.
- Credentialed Professionals & Sellers: Know who to trust. No more will pros get flamed by 12 year-olds and not have a way of defending themselves. Of course, we always welcome 12 year-olds too!
- Classifieds are just posts: Create your classified ad as a post. If a seller is a "Trusted Seller," that means that they are either a well-respected member of the trumpet community or they have had 5 positive sales interactions on this site.
Those are just a few of the many, exciting developments to come. So, please join in the fun!

Trusted Sellers
While you any registered member can post a for sale/wanted ad, I have created a new group called "Trusted" sellers. This group will consist of people who have had five positive sales interactions on the forum so far. I am still working on how to determine this...so please post your ideas here. It's a bit of a compromise from the old format on TrumpetMaster and the format on TrumpetHerald, but I believe that it will work.

Maybe I just haven't figured it out but is there a way to view "new posts since last visit" ? If not, that would be a nice feature........

Hello, All!
I'm not certain how much time I'll be able to monitor this site, as well as some of our other well-known community discussion boards, but I'm interested to see how this community resource distinguishes itself.
I'm a conductor, composer, educator, and trumpeter, and I look forward to contributing however I can, and perhaps starting a few discussions on repertoire, history, and so-on.
Happy practicing!

Welcome, Dan! One of the distinct features of this site is that we have "Credentialed Professionals." In the past, when anonymous users have "flamed" well-known professionals, it has tended to drive them off. I am hoping to restore a little bit of dignity for those musicians as well as help future newcomers discern between quality and low-quality information. If you would like to join the group, please send me a chat! Thanks again,
- Admin

Beautiful! I'm making that the cover photo of the group, if you don't mind!
