You can create events and post them here.

Working just fine for me Literally, just copy the URL from the browser and paste it in.
As part of this new forum, I can create and modify groups. I would like to create a "Credentialed Professionals" group to distinguish certain posters. Part of the issue we have had in past forums is that credentialed and well-respected musicians would write posts, only to be flamed by anonymous users. With this feature, these people would be clearly marked and any future newcomers to the site would have a better opportunity to quickly discern who to trust and who is....well, less-than trustworthy!
If you would like to be a member of this group, please clicks "Groups" on the top navbar, select the "Credentialed Professionals" group and request membership. Please give some evidence for your request in a private chat session with administrator. Thank you!

Hope I didn't miss the bus. Thanks Tobylou8 for the tip-off. And I can read this site on my mobile too . The last century layout of the other board was driving me crazy!
You didn't miss any bus, it's just getting started.
Please be aware that you can change your username! However, that doesn't mean that any nasty posts you created will automatically go away, so have some discretion in all that you write.
Users can upload photos, soundclips, videos, PDFs or even Word documents and share them in their posts. Additionally, thread creators can use a photo as the "logo" or "avatar" of that specific thread.
Sorry to "piggyback" the thread...but yes, @Tobylou8 you can simply post a link to the YouTube URL. Nothing more than that. Also, you can "reference" a user with the "@" symbol.
Feel free to add tags to your threads. At the bottom you will see the text "Enter tags here, between 3 and 15 characters each." After you create a tag, press comma to make it permanent. You can then search by tag at the top navbar.
@Vulgano-Brother I am planning on adding some non-intrusive Google AdSense ads to the bottom of the page. They will translate nicely to both desktop and mobile. I may consider doing the sides of the page too.
In the old days you could send a user a PM on a forum. Now, you can simply "chat" with any number of users you desire to have private communication with. Click the "Chat" icon on the top right of the nav bar, just to the left of your avatar.
One cool feature of this new site format is that groups can be formed, joined and left. Currently, I am the only one with the privilege to create groups but I may expand that as membership grows. For example, I just created the "Martin Committee Club". If you would like to join the group, go to the top nav bar and click the icon with three persons called "Groups." Simple select the group you would like to join and request to join.
@ButchA Yes, I see that and will try to fix it today.

Welcome, @buccaneer61!
Administrator owns the site! There is a rep button on the bottom right corner of every post.
