Opinions on Valve Oils?

I got the thickest formulation and it is REALLY think. (Thicker than Hetmans's #3 or Monster's thickest, IMO.) It works well, but the action is pretty slow. However, I also hear they reformulated shortly thereafter and the newer BERPs might be faster.
Well the #3 is 5.6 cSts..that's thick. Youcan't expect fact action with thick oil.

Got my stash today. Valve oil, Valve slide and tuning slide oils.

Apart from regular products, it might be interesting to research into what people use in emergencies if they don't have the right product available... I once saw an oompah band player whose valves began sticking unscrew all the valves, pour about half a pint of beer into the valve casings, reassemble and continue...

This isn't about valve oil.
The post clearly states "Opinions about valve oil " I believe we have been on topic here so am a bit confused regarding your concern.

Just that the point is being missed. The question is not about valve oil because there are no valves.
Really confused here as the posts I see are about valves.

Then PLEASE stop quibbling. No one else on this thread is quibbling. Can we put some oil on your quibble so we can move on with this thread? Thanks.

I got this thread mixed up with another and I'm truly sorry for the agrivation and time spent. I've been communicating with a friend most of the day who is giving up on living and my mind's just in the wrong place. Again, sorry.

No need to be sorry if you are helping a friend in need. Thanks for caring, Kehaulani.

@Kehaulani Good for you. But now keep up the good work, or she'll fall back into it worse than before.

update: arrived... Tromba T3
Received a bottle of La Tromba T3. Apart from an amber colour, and a slight 'fragrance' that reminds me of fruits, and a higher price tag... I cannot say this is any faster then the Cass Fast oil.So far, the fastest oil I have found is the good'ol Bach. It may be smelly and volatile, but it is quick.
These no-smell oils must be refined from gas concentrate, which would account for their higher viscosity and lesser volatility. Oils like the Bach are refined from crude into kerosene and further refined into near colourless, which accounts for their odour, lower viscosity, higher volatility.
Seems everything these days is a compromise: odourless means slower; faster means odour. Good to have choices?
