      I bought a CNC machine. I wonder if I could sell CNC made toy trains. Seems like it could be a hit.

        I don’t know. Trains are so...19th century, you know? 😁

        I used to be into building custom HO gauge locomotives, but I got that out of my system...

        This one ran on a local line back in the early 1980s.

            Computer Numerical Control.
            Commonly used in machining devices where a computer tells the device what to do. Very handy for making mouthpieces, among other stuff.

                                More like an O man. My dad had an O gauge set up in our basement when I was a kid. I mean it was our entire basement. He had mountains, lakes, bridges, houses, churches, businesses, roadways with cars, farms with animals... Had a blast running them with Dad. We had electronic controlled switches so could move trains between rail patterns. Really cool way to bring Father and Son together!

                                  @Dr-GO That's pretty darn cool.

                                  I remember dad having a pretty big set of electric trains, but I only remember it being set up once briefly when I was pretty young. I think he sold it all when we moved from Ft. Worth to Lubbock, (I was 6 at the time), and I believe it was a pretty valuable set.

                                    I think you would really enjoy this place in nearby FLemington, NJ. It is called Northlandz. It has thousands of ( to scale ) miles of track and hundreds of trains all synchronized and in lifelike settings. We took our grandson there a couple of years ago for his 4th? Birthday. Here are some of the settings.
