My grandson played this classic 1986 video for me today. It’s a catchy tune. See whether you can identify the celebrities appearing in this. If you can identify the celebrities, how old does it make you feel, and by the way, what kind of Trumpet was Wynton playing?

By the way, here is the 2020 Jazz At Lincoln Center Version.

I believe that is his Monette P3 STC Bb trumpet:

I was referring to the first video (1986).

Thanks so much for this Steve. At last I can offer guidance to reed players when they get a "case of the squeaks"

The picture is blurred, bit in that vintage, I believe he was playing a Bach.

@ssmith1226 Single brace on outer tuning slide, what appears to be an Amado water key on a "C" shaped tuning slide, no adjustable 3rd slide apparatus, no apparent bulge nor reflection from what would be the hexagonal end of the mouthpiece receiver. Probably not a Bach. No irregularity/reflection where the 3rd slide stop limit screw would be found on a Yamaha, either.

Here's a blurry video of probably the same horn. A ring on the 1st valve slide and dents in the bell:

And if that's not blurry enough, check out this extra-blurry video:

                Further sleuthing is indicated.
