Pulling my old Chase vinyl out off a dusty shelf now! Guess I'll be back in the 70s for awhile again today! Keep it coming, the 70s were a pretty good time (the parts that I remember anyway!).

Horns are not necessarily a thing of the past. Here is a more contemporary recording of Louis Cole. Love his use of horns and his own more millennial approach to funk.

Here is yet another band that employed the Tower of Power brass section but combined with a band that has an amazing Hammond B3 solo. The combination is just amazing:
