I may or may not know who did this......

A couple of those are right in the pocket of Big Dub's painting technique. You guys might do a collaboration.

Here are some shots of a long abandoned, historic train station not 10 minutes from my home. Here you see the north bound side and south bound side. The north bound station is where the tracks are on the right side of the picture. This is Belle Meade, New Jersey. One could easily commute in comfort and without stress to NYC inside an hour from here. Parking was free, too.

Look as if the tracks are listing around car #3. Any chance the painting can be repainted to fix the problem with the tracks... This will make me feel much better... as I have a one track mind.

Yes. There is a chance. To quote from the highly acclaimed movie, Dumb and Dumber, ā So, there is a chance?ā
I suppose I could, and yes, I see what you mean. This painting is about 40-45 years old and I have no idea who owns it right now. I also have plenty of issues with it, not the least of which is the leaning third car.
Hmmm. This has just laid down a challenge to me and I think I might just try and redo this one. Yes, I just might. -

I especially like the really old engines. Very nice. Are these your own or were they from another source?

@BigDub
These are all photographs I took. In my opening comments, I asked people not to post photos they found on the internet, just ones they actually took themselves. I took most of them in the 1980s when I travelled a lot with my job. I literally have hundreds of them, but so far have managed to scan just a relative few, these mostly taken in Alabama. -
@BigDub WOW!!! That reminds me of the station I used to use when visiting my grandparents near Philly. We took the train all the way to 69th St.

This is the Boise, Idaho station. I walked there from the house in Boise to take those pictures, by the way. Passenger service ended about 20, 25 years ago but the building is so beautiful they now use it for a museum and people can rent it out for events. The trains never stop there anymore. -
Here is an archive photo of the Belle Mead Station when it was still operating for passengers.

Some people got a little over exuberant about the Railroad and the Parcel Post benefits. After this happened, they had to be a little more specific about what you could ship!

Here is a little something I did. Just finished today, DrGo, with your inspiration. Maybe I fixed some things, added some, took away others?
Dale, forgive me for straying a little from Railroad enthusiast's exactness of the engine.i sort of created my own. Some of you may recognize the location of this? -

Puffer-bellies were so cool. Across the street from my apartments was a ravine and the puffer-bellies used to come by. We would put pennies on the track so the train would flatten them. And we would wave at the Conductor, who always waved back. Tom Sawyer days.

My Grandfather is the short guy in the middle. He was the conductor.
