      I haven’t your level in trumpet playing but have already five implants inside my mouth... and never had any problem with them! After each surgery one week without any playing followed by one week of gradual recovery and voila…

      Yes I remember Urban Sax. They were fully dressed in white. For October 6 in Aubervilliers I suggest the yellow jackets.

      @BigDub
      On this Chinese clone exactly as on the original Schilke P5-4, the water key is fitted upside down. And I understood why: when you quickly remove the slide you avoid hitting the edge of the bell.

    • RE: Pic mouthpieces

      Just out of curiosity, I wonder why nobody mentions here the possibility of using a cornet mouthpiece, with adapter.
      I am not a wonderful example of a picc player, but I know several (far better than me!) picc players using this combo.
      So I bought a Chinese (cheap but suitable for my use) clone of P5-4. Having tried all my trumpet mouthpieces (I have a bunch of them!) even my Monettes (not the AP or BP that I haven't) I finally found the best for me: a Selmer #2 cornet mouthpiece that I have since ... more than half a century...

      @tjcombo
      With the original mouthpiece! For mine I had to find one on eBay.
      I also had to change the springs. It now plays like in a dream...

    • Why not another thread about bigger horns ?

      Not sure it's the good place for this thread? Anyway let's go:
      I know a lot of people on this board also play alto/tenor horn, euphonium, and so on...
      So do I (Yamaha alto):
