      Hi Niner,
If you look closely, you an see the strained stitching in the crack. Its almost like the men on both sides of the buttocks are pulling the pants apart.

1967 Holton Collegiate Trumpet --> my grade school band trumpet. I just can't part with it!
1975 Olds Ambassador Cornet --> my new/used eBay special. Sounds great!
2018 Regiment WI-800 Bugle --> my inexpensive Chinese made bugle from Amazon.

Thanks, Jim. Yes after 27 years of working in the "Academic" world, I decided to practice in the "real world". Should have made this decision years ago. I LOVE my patients and really get a chance to see my treatments turn around individuals life on a more rapid time scale and at a higher volume. You know, I really did go into medicine to help people, and this new gig reinforces that behavior.

In addition, I am still receiving a salary from my academic institution until I turn 65, AND the salary from this practice position, so making two salaries as a physician is another congratulatory benefit! Just think of all the Haarrelson Trumpets I can now buy for myself and for gifting!

Well, then, congratulations are in order indeed! It is great that you are enjoying helping your patients. And apparently you are continuing to enjoy your Harrelson too - I remember when your Harrelson saga began!

I have a little over a year of retirement under my belt now, though I still teach one online class each primary semester. Retirement seems to suit me. More time for family, fitness pursuits, hobbies, and trumpet playing is great!

That's in Paris. The French are not shy apparently. It's not a joke. Frenchmen unzip and pee into such things. It could be worse I guess.

I recall seeing that in certain parts of Paris the sidewalks appeared to be hosed down nightly by men's bladders, judging by the innumerable stains on the walls of buildings running onto the sidewalks. Having to pay to pee makes much of Europe inhospitable, and some of the people that live there consider themselves to be superior to everyone else, including one another. Maybe these new uritrottoirs will help, especially if they're free to pee.

I think I figured out why the Seine is green; it's the combination of blue water mixed with yellow water.

Now if they can find a way to keep the sidewalks from being stained red from all the stabbings.... Ah, the City of Love!

Man - I've been to Paris a number of times and never noticed those extremes. Might've just been me, but my experiences took a different turn.

I believe I remember seeing similar contraptions in Amsterdam when I was briefly there in the late 1990s. As I recall, the devices drained urine directly into the canals.

@Comeback It looks like Kehaulani must have been too busy paying attention to the tour guide.

In Vietnam we had pissers on firebases that were pretty much an oil drum in the ground with a screen over it as an American thing. Number 2 was done in a "shitter" with the diesel fuel drums under them like you see in Platoon. In France they call the public utilities "pissoirs" and aren't all that new an idea.
