Welcome to TrumpetBoards!

Welcome to TrumpetBoards! I hope you find this an exciting new place to discuss all things trumpet-related. Some rules will come down the road, but for now, please follow these simple regulations:
- Please sign-up for one username only.
- No political or religious topics. (Moderators will determine what counts as this)
- No posting anything for sale outside of the classifieds section.
- Foul language, demeaning remarks or excessive anger will get one banned. This site is PG-rated (and not like Airplane).
- If you feel that the content of a post is questionable, or that it is spam, please flag it.
- No discussing woodwinds (kidding!)
Thanks for coming, and we hope that you will be a positive contribution to our community.

Since I'm new here, who owns the site?
-
Is there a "like" button? Man, I need some "reppies", 120 seconds is a long time when the mind is flowing!
-
Administrator owns the site! There is a rep button on the bottom right corner of every post.
-
How do I become an "Utimate" member?
-
OK, I'm also here.

I'm here, and also sent the link to GeorgeB (from the trumpet sites) to come check out this new forum.

Hello, All!
I'm not certain how much time I'll be able to monitor this site, as well as some of our other well-known community discussion boards, but I'm interested to see how this community resource distinguishes itself.
I'm a conductor, composer, educator, and trumpeter, and I look forward to contributing however I can, and perhaps starting a few discussions on repertoire, history, and so-on.
Happy practicing!

Welcome, Dan! One of the distinct features of this site is that we have "Credentialed Professionals." In the past, when anonymous users have "flamed" well-known professionals, it has tended to drive them off. I am hoping to restore a little bit of dignity for those musicians as well as help future newcomers discern between quality and low-quality information. If you would like to join the group, please send me a chat! Thanks again,

Kujo, reporting for duty!
Looks like I’m a couple days late to the party. Finally decided to check TH for any updates on TM and discovered TB (no, not that TB).
Hopefully we’ll see the rest of the gang shortly. Good to be here!
