Good news. There was a post from kehaulani last night at TH. I hope he comes back here, too. I replied to his post but haven't heard back from him as yet.

Thank you. I'll quote my facebook page:
"I would like to thank those who expressed concern at my silence. I can't write everyone personally, so please understand it's meant for you, personally, at any rate.
I have had serious sight challenges (seven recent eye operations) and resulting in sightlessness for some time. Talk about terrifying.
At any rate, thank you, again. Response will be sporadic but full of gratitude, in any case."K-

@kehaulani Welcome to the Club of the Eye-Operated. Hope your surgeries weren't as painful as mine...

Praise to God Kehaulani, I am so glad you are back. So sorry about the vision loss but thinking nothing but power thoughts heading your way!

For me the very thought of losing my eyesight is terrifying. I have been dealing with Glaucoma for the last 20 years. Drops keep the pressure at an acceptable level, but there was nerve damage to my left eye before they found I had Glaucoma. That damage causes weird things to happen, but I have learned to live with it.
I have so much respect for you, kehaulani. You have gone through hell and no one should ever have to deal with even an eighth of what you have. You have so much knowledge of music, and I know how much it must hurt to be unable to play the trumpet when things get bad for you.
I hope and pray that your health will improve enough for you to get back on the horn.
