@Tobylou8 an acquaintance of mine owns several fireworks stands, and he said they stayed sold out of everything and had to keep restocking. Said it was somewhat unparalleled in his fireworks-selling experience.
Glad we've had a ton of rain this year - no burn bans were in effect. We shot off quite a bit at our 4th gathering, although most of our stuff was leftover from last year. We bought a bunch last summer, but somehow didn't get a chance to shoot it off.

The tune popped up on my Spotify feed one day and immediately caused me to wonder how I'd never heard it before.

For clarification, while I do live in a rural Texas suburb, I'm not from Egan, and I didn't win the mayor race. That was just a funny election day notice I saw last week, and thought I would share as a humorous distraction from the greater political drama.
I do appreciate the congratulations, and may use this momentum to run for office. If I can just build on the trumpet player voting base, I feel like I could run on a platform of making the trumpet our official national instrument, making it illegal to play viola in public, and maybe build National Mouthpiece Safari Parks.
