I believe the guidance of a good teacher is the way to find out what works most efficiently for you.

      Dittos!
The only problem is finding someone who can find the most efficient way for you.

Do away with Electoral College, and we'll have a true democracy, which is defined by two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.

      Excellent analogy J.

No it's not. It presupposes that the third party is a lamb. What if they're all wolves or all sheep? Works in other counties and is a heck of a lot more democratic. I'm tired of the premise of "one man, one vote" being a farce.

Which is precisely the problem. Pure democracy will not work because it is easy for tyrants to convince the weak, the ignorant, and the stupid to support them in order to eliminate the competition. A lot of that can be done by pulling the old bait and switch.

    • RE: Vintage Horn Eye Candy

@Bob-Pixley Not mean to me Bob. I've played a couple. One was absolutely the best piccolo I had ever played at the time. It might still be. IT WAS OWNED BY A CIRCUS CLOWN. I asked if he would sell it but he said that it was part of his act so he couldn't. AAAARGHHHH!!!!!

Give an arpeggio the Clifford Brown treatment. Go chromatic upper and lower neighbor then the chord tone.
All 8ths and swing it. Accent the bold gives a good feel.

Incorrect use of the word “myself” is maddening. It is rampant in the U.S.A. these days.

I don't bother myself over such issues... 😉

It bothers me the most when I hear libtards who have journalism degrees say it. To be fair, hearing a libtard say much is irritating enough in the first place.

    • RE: Is a $280 New Bach Stradivarius Trumpet too good to be true?

      @djeffers78

I had a Jin Bao made trumpet that was pretty good. I had an "intermediate" that was good except that the valves were toast in a couple of weeks. I had a beginner Wisemann that was decent, the valves lasted a beginner 5 years of playing and they are probably still good 4 years after that.

The intermediate and beginner were only decent after some custom work. The Jin Bao was pretty good out of the box.

I have a Wisemann Eb that was a good playing horn out of the box but it is now an excellent Eb, much better than that famous, over priced, American brand that I can't stand. I haven't played Mendini or Cecelio.

Heck, the article I linked could be wrong and they make less.

I was surprised to see it at that much. I would think that they make less.
