Archive Retrieval Procedure For TM

Since TM is still down for the count and might not come back, could a "sticky" be made on archival retrieval procedures? Someone posted on TH how to do it but I thought it would be a good idea if it was here since most of us are TM refugees and not everyone coming on board went to TH for a short vacation. There is a GOLD MINE of information there in pics alone! My IT skills are rudimentary at best. I can post videos now but I don't know if it is how others post videos!

@Tobylou8 To the right of the result in google, you will see a green drop-down arrow. Click that arrow and then click "Cached". That will bring up the page as it appeared before the site crashed.

Additionally, if that stops working, you can find most of the threads on web.archive.org

Since I don’t think the search function within the way back machine works on TM, you can search for a thread by putting “(insert query) site:trumpetmaster.com” into google, and then paste the link you find in google into the way back machine: https://archive.org/web/

The searches would only have been archived if they were deliberately archived, I think, else that would take a whole lot of space to search every single possible term and save the results.

I found it in January of 2017, according to this thread: http://web.archive.org/web/20170714231624/http://www.trumpetmaster.com/threads/oldest-zombie-thread-award-2017.86316/page-3 (if someone who was a moderator on there can log in, we could probably have them allow us to register, which would be kind of funny, to go back to the original forum.)

Pardon me for asking, ('cause I just don't know), but what is there of so much worth on TM that one wants to access or download?

Lots of comprehensive info on many subjects of interest and importance. I used the search function to find many things I wanted to review/revisit/clarify/update. I saw no such depth on anoTHer website.
