I’m not sure where to put this, but it started my day out good after someone sent it to me, so i thought i would pay it forward. Dwight Adams is playing trumpet.

One of my favorite tunes to improvise on. Exciting.
Refreshing to hear a trumpeter in that context who's solo is more than just the proverbial, playing high and loud and wiggling the fingers. Thanks.

          Love Spain.

When I play this with the Ensemble, I play the Intro out front (can be found in the Real Book at the back section of extra songs)

As the only Solo Voice, I take it up an entire octave. There is a pause. Then the ensemble comes in at the A section. Very efffective!
