Isn't it a Bad Company song?

              I saw that and let it pass. I already have a Pinto! 😂 😂 😂 😂

Seriously though, that's a good horn. My N+1 days are over or I'd have bought it!

Only the straight through airflow comes from the Pinto design. They are a professional horn in every way. I already have 2, so i will probably sell it later. Should be able to make a couple hundred on it, AND still get to play it awhile;)

One pet peeve i have with horns that have sat with dirty valves, are the black circle marks on the valves from the ports. Regular cleaning never makes them pretty. They work fine, but i like them pretty too;) Just soaked the valve bodies in ketchup and that seems to have done the trick.

When was the last time you, or anybody else, looked at your valves when you played?

I would see if you can buy a Blitz slide and valve cloth. They work great on valves and get all of the little black circles off. They are messy, but get the valve spotless and slick. About $5.

Can't be as messy as ketchup;) Will try one.

Thats why i said it was a pet peave;) One of my many OCD impulses;)

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to rinse the ketchup off before putting the valves back in.

                                Like, 95% sure.

Is that how they get the color of rose brass?

This horn also came with a Jet Tone mouthpiece in decent condition. Always wanted to try one, but like i figured, a 6A4A is very similar. Size is a 1A. Haven't done any research on them yet in regards to sizes.

Is it a Custom Model 1A? I play a 1B. I have a 1A in a cornet piece (really!) and it's flatter and I can feel the difference. I like both.

Most all of those Customs had a 21/32 size cup. Maynards was 19/32. Rims went from A-flattest/widest, to D- thinnest/rounded. Numbers where depth if I remember correctly 1-shallowest to 7(?) deepest. I'll try to find my bookmark of the pamphlet to be sure that's correct.
