Peter Dinklage used to play trumpet in a punk band!
-
@Vulgano-Brother That's how he got the (real) scar across his face. He got kicked or kneed in the face while performing at CBGB.

So...the ending was no good? I mean, I literally know nothing. I do remember watching Lost. The ending was quite a let down.
-
@administrator The ending was... "not with a bang, but with a whimper." It could have been worse. But with after such a major build-up, it was unsatisfying. It certainly won't go down in the annals of great series finales like "MASH", or "Six Feet Under", or "Newhart."
-
So, it ended like Kanstul? I know, too soon.
-
@administrator Well, we're not yet sure what the end game is for Kanstul. It could be some kind of M&A deal....

@Newell-Post I jokingly posted on FB in a GOT thread were fans were REALLY upset about the ending. I suggested a Newhart type ending where a Peter Jackson looking 35 yr old man wakes up on the sofa in his mothers basement. He had been binge playing the Elder Scrolls video game. He runs upstairs to tell his mother he had a dream about a really cool idea for a TV show! She listens and takes notes. When he finishes, she says its a great idea and could be worth millions! As he turns around to leave the room, she quickly grabs a kitchen knife and stabs him to death. She maniacally turns to the camera and says, "And it's mine, all mine"!!!
They weren't amused. -
Honestly? From a fair but not rabid fan? I started watching around season 3. Caught up quickly. It ended a couple of episodes ago. Only recently ( this season) had the Dragon Queen stated to go off the deep end, it seemed rushed. It was kind of predictable in the embrace. I had my doubts as to who killed who, but i knew one died. I would certainly not place it in finale royalty, but similar to oh, say, Moonlighting. The great battle had been won. The other was easy. Everyone but the "other" Queen knew it.

@Tobylou8 LOL. That would have been an improvement.

When seeing this thread before, i missed the first post showing Peter Dinklage playing trumpet. Pretty cool actor. He made GOT. Saw him 10 years ago in a scifi series called "Theshold" He was great in it too.

Just re-watched "The Station Agent." That was a completely different type of movie, but it was Dinklage's first leading role, I think. It also had some interesting early parts by Bobby Cannavale (Will and Grace), Michelle Williams (Dawson's Creek), and John Slattery (Mad Men).
