Repair Shop Special - parts for sale
-
For several years our band also conducted a brass repair workshop. I have a number of items left over from that workshop that may be of use to a repair shop. As noted in the photos, these items include, from right to left in the photo, (all are stripped of any lacquer)
Olds Ambassador #575536 - This is a complete, assembled unit with matching numbers. It has no visible damage and could be put back into playing condition.
Olds Ambassador #359057 - Complete with matching numbers, needs some braces resoldered and other minor work.
Olds Ambassador #468195 - Mostly complete - some damage (lead pipe), missing some small parts such as valve caps. Needs reassembly
Olds Ambassador #973262 - body and slides (no valves)
Olds Ambassador #454718 - valve body and sljdes, with valves but no small parts.
2 ea Olds Ambassador bells - reasonably straight and dent-free
1 ea Bundy (Bach) bell - shows signs of rework
Various leadpipes:
6 have tags which show the size
8 have no tags (one appears to be from an Ambassador - there is also a receiver (not shown) which is cracked but repairable.I am open to suggestions about how these could be of use to someone and what they are worth.
I suppose they could be used for repairs or to make a "frankenhorn" by combining with other parts.

Hey @Lotsahorns , what are you thinking you'd like to get for the whole lot?
-
I think $200 + shipping would be adequate. BTW, on reviewing the items, I found that a couple of the trumpets still have lacquer on them - just for clarification.

Have any of this left? Liberty pipe maybe?
