WTB Al Cass mouthpiece

I'm looking for trumpet mouthpieces of the 1-/4x/4s series except for the 1-28.
Any other pieces except for the 2-/3x series will be interesting as well.
I'm also looking for any Al Cass flugelhorn mouthpieces.I'm really looking forward to any offer or hint where you can find some of these mouthpieces.

Hello,
I actually have several for sale currently.
Unfortunately my website doesn't have an auto option to calculate postage rates - but I would be happy to give you a manual quote.
https://thebrasscellar.com/accessories/mouthpieces/The 4 series are extremely hard to find these days.
I have a 4S-1 C version one that has a slightly shorter shank in raw brass that's near new.
Reach out and we can talk -
Good luck finding a flugel piece. It took me years to find the one I have and I haven’t seen any (real ones) since.

Yes, these are really hard to find. I should have kept the 1-2 I had.
I have Art Farmer's back up piece (artists were only allowed one of a piece at time apparently) in my stash and it's an amazing piece. -

I had his son Steve check it out...and he is fairly certain that it was an early prototype of the Art Farmer piece.

I did some research on my old collection via the wayback machine and found some old links on the collection I used to have. I think at it's peak I had close to 25-30 pieces. The link is to the Art Farmer flugel model. From memory there were 2 pieces in that box (not unlike the Dizzy Trumpet mouthpiece - there were two of those also)

https://thebrasscellar.com/accessories/mouthpieces/Thanks for the response.
Frankly, I kind of forgot about my post...Anyway I don't need any 3x pieces.
They're too small for me. But thanks for your response!
I'm still looking for these models:
1-27
1-26
1-24
4x2
and any flugelhorn mouthpiecesMoreover it seems as if this discussion takes an interesting way...
So I made a thread to talk a bit more about these wonderful mouthpieces:

@trumpetom
Your list is going to take a while I think.
I've not seen any of those sizes in a long time (~10 years).
I've only seen 2 4x2's ever - I recently picked up a 4x1 - but it's a C shank (shorter than the Bb).
There is a seller in Japan who has a good range - but you're looking at US $300 - $450 per piece as they command a premium in that market. -
@Zman
Yes I know the dealer from Japan. I had already contact with him.
Although I'm really looking for these mouthpices the prices are ridiculously high. Now and then I see some of the 1-series mouthpieces but they are sold immediately or the seller is asking too much.
It's not easy.
But I guess you're right my list wil take quite some time... -
Trumpetom - I don't know Al Cass sizes, but I have a 1-26 that looks new, having been replated. Let me know if this is the kind of thing you're looking for.

@Kehaulani YES that sounds pretty good! Sent you a PM

@Kehaulani Did you get my PM?

Hi everyone,
I'm still looking for Al Cass mouthpieces.
Is there anybody who has something to offer?
Or any hints where I could get some? -
In specific I'm looking for the following trumpet mouthpieces:
1-27
1-26
1-24
4x2
4s2
L2 (Made in England)I'm also interested in the 1-series mouthpieces with a "Dizzy-backbore".
They are marked with an "A" after the model number e.g. "1-28 A"Also any flugelhorn or mellophone mouthpiece would be very interesting.

No PM. I am at a disadvantage at the moment. My left eye has no peripheral vision, probably 1/4 of normal sight. I'm presently having eye work on my good eye and it's bandaged up so I can't see through it at all. What that means is ir is very difficult to see. Ironically, this additional strain is making it hard to think straight, too. If you want to wait, great. If not, I understand.

I'm sorry to hear that.Maybe you remember that we had contact a few months ago.
Anyway I will send you an e-mail to continue our conversation. -
@trumtrumtrum Sorry it's taken so long. I'll send you an email tomorrow. If/when you PayPal me, I can get the mouthpiece(s) out ASAP. Give me one day, please. Thanks.
