I agree, but believe our praising them for years has driven the prices up. With TM gone, will those rave reviews keep up?

BECAUSE of cheap Chinese labor. Guilty of it myself.

Good information, it is appreciated. Sometimes when i have inadvertently over did it, i do some pedal tones which seem to get the lips feeling better, as a warm down. Lips flapping a lot is similar to massage, no?

Memories are good. Girlfriend usually watching MASH reruns when i show up on weekends. The MASH theme takes me back to 7th grade band every time. One of the first TV show theme songs i figured out how to play. I was copying another kid though, but i went on to figure out a lot more in Jr High;)

Most won't. Its sad, but true. We have been transformed into a replacement society. No one "fixes" things any longer. Or at least very few do.

But whats a good test of what IS too much pressure? I read one about palming the trumpet, and another about turning the trumpet all the way around while playing a constant note. I have been guilty of using WAY too much pressure when tired, and actually leaving an impression on the lips, but aside from that, whats a good test? I realize this sounds like a silly question, but if i need clarification, others might as well?

"Burn them all" was a phrase that stuck in my mind. Danny is turning into the mad queen;) Have never watched an episode as it aired. Till tonight, will watch the ending with Girlfriend. Did watch a few episodes BEFORE they aired, but thats another story;)

I figure that was extra sound deadening material in a new practice room, probably necessary for the rest of the kids family;)

I see this all the time, but a definition of too much pressure would be helpful?

People find an Olds horn and read a few rave reviews and think they have a gold mine.

Was there the same opinion of Olds Trumpets on TH as there was on TM? I kind of figured all the raving about them on TM led to a lot of the price rise on them. With it gone, might they decline?

Wish i had snapped up ALL of them then. Ambassador, Mezdez, Special, Recordings, all would have been nice investments. I think they STILL are, but no one can be sure.....Even Ambassadors sure have gone up in 3 years.....
