Speaking of stream....my original plan did not include any stream at all. It sort of developed after the initial lay in of color. Then I thought it needed a bit more, so off I went.

I have been bouncing this one around in my head for some time but when it came down to it I got right at it.

Oh, yeah, Wayne, that is fantastic. I have experienced moments like that when on overnight trout fishing trips. It really comes alive for me.

Completed another one you might like.....this one also of the Lambertville New Hope Bridge over the Delaware River connecting NJ to PA.

Here is a new one. A big thank you to Ivan Hunter for use of the photograph of Pumpkin Island Lighthouse, Brooklyn, Maine. It may look familiar because I did an earlier one of the opposite side. It’s a very small island amongst many in that area.

I hope you all don’t mind me sharing another one I just finished today? This one of a farm, early morning, in Oldwick, NJ. About 25 minutes from me

The current Commision I am working on. Here is a series of shots showing the progression of what steps I go through, though this isn’t necessarily the same for every painting I do. This one, however is being done this way. There were several more drawings to determine how I wanted to lay out the design and positioning of everything.

Yup. Yessir. Very possible, Lord willing. The better the photo.......you know...the better job I can do.

I would like to hear if you think this is done. I am leaning heavily toward yes, myself. Also I know what the client wants, and you don’t, necessarily....here it is as of today.
The story about this, without naming any names, Is that the Client's uncle owned this farm near Rockford, IL. He passed away a number of years ago and the client wants to give this to his own father ( older brother of the owner of this farm ).
The farm has since been sold, hence, the sentimental value of the gesture.

Here is one I did of the path I take nearly every day on my walk. I was fortunate to get some reference photos at the perfect time. In only a couple of short weeks I don’t even recognize the same spot anymore!

Another thing I just put together pretty quickly. The painting part was fast, but the preliminary planning lasted over many days...
