      Hi! I bought one of these horns a few years ago and it's good enough for the small amount of time I play it. It's not a Carol Brass or a Kanstul. Looks like an Allora. Does anyone know the history of them?

            That looks like an inexpensive Jin Bao made instrument to me...

              Solista is made by George Rawlin in Atlanta. He has since retired and living in Athens, GA, I think. But he was a terrific trumpet player and made a very good trumpets and flugelhorns. I have a Solista C Trumpet with which I'm very pleased. His websites are no longer active, but you can find a number of YouTube videos on him and Solista.

                @harry ALLORA is a better value at $425 new. People are importing and inspecting great flugelhorns under myriad brands. Not really making them.
