      I have this old lyre which I used on my trumpet. It was my great grandfather's. It seems to be unique as a simple Google search revealed nothing like it. Thought I would see if anyone here has any knowledge or comments on it.

          My 1919 York Perfec-Tone cornet has a vertical lyre holder that would probably hold yours, and I suspect that such a thing was not uncommon during that era.
