@dr-go Thanks for the reply but I don't understand how a trombone slide grease vs trumpet can limit slide movement.

Trumpet slide grease

Hi all,
I have a mint 1946 Besson Meha that I haven't played in ten years. I will be selling it soon and the slides need cleaning and lubing. I have some trombone slide grease (Trombotine and Superslick). Can they be used?
