        Thanks for that vid, Dr-Mark. He does a great job of explaining things, especially about how much easier it is to play high notes softly, than it is to play them loudly. What I do at home, where I play softly, the high notes come so much easier compared to how much harder I have to work for those same notes when I'm playing with the band.

          Isn't that common sense? The more air force you use, the more muscular resistance you have to use to keep your embouchure in place?
