          @Dr-Mark

          I am sure happy to see that those health care workers are getting the kind of recognition they so deserve. Heroes, everyone. Same goes for pharmacists, first responders, the police, food store workers, etc. I have a whole new appreciation of these people.

            Same here. My sister spent a career, first as a LVN then as a RN, only to have it end with her suffering a complete mental breakdown. They are often (and I'm not blaming everyone of this) overlooked, underappreciated and undervalued. I think that, sometimes, they'e looked upon as throw away professions.

            I asked her one day why she would do such a dirty job and she used other words, but what she communicated was that she cared about other people. She's truly a caring person . . and, evidently, not the only one.

              Your sister was quite a lady and sorry to hear she had a breakdown, but considering the kind of person she was, and the profession she was in, a breakdown is certainly understandable. She and others like her are very special people.
